The Transit Advisory Committee was restructured in 2010, and was combined with the Senior Services Advisory Board. This group is now the Senior Services and Transit Advisory Board
The coordinated public transit system (Outback Express) is guided by the Senior Services and Transit Advisory Board, a group of thirteen members representing vehicle owners, drivers, service participants, transit providers. The SSTB develops, reviews, and makes recommendations on policies, programs, and actions affecting the operation of the transit service to the ECCOG Board of Directors.
In addition to the provision of services, a wide range of responsibilities, required by federal and state regulations are carried out by the transit staff and advisory committee, including:
